ABOUT THE COMPANY
In 2016, the Philippines was in the middle of a construction boom such that it exponentially increased the need for material supply. While the JCR Group of Companies was already in the business of operating crushing plants, through an affiliate company, Solid, Inc., the production capacity was not enough.
With the technical competence and environmental management skills the Group gained in managing Solid, Inc., the JCR Group of Companies chose to seize the opportunity to purchase a bigger quarry site in San, Isidro, Rodriguez, Rizal.
Big Rock Aggregates Corporation was formed in February 8, 2017 to engage in the exploration, development and utilization of mineral resources in the new site which came with a Mineral Production Sharing Agreement for a vast land area with larger quarry reserves. The considerable land area also enabled the company to put up a crushing plant with a production capacity of 80,000 cu.m. to capitalize on the need of the construction industry for more materials.
Today Big Rock Aggregates Corporation is engaged in producing and supplying high quality stone aggregates while practicing responsible mining.
PRODUCT
The plant has been designated to be very flexible in terms of meeting any increase in the demand of any aggregates product. With its capacity, the plants are more than capable of supplying the projects of its affiliates as well as engaging in outside sales.
